Fashion Show Takes Student Work to the Runway

Upper School fashion students lit up the runway on Monday, May 4, at the annual McDonogh Fashion Show, debuting collections full of bold ideas and personal flair.

The show traced a full creative journey—from learning to weave, dye, and sew in Fashion I, to developing original collections in Fashion II, to presenting a complete body of work in Senior Capstone. It was a celebration not just of what students made, but of how they’ve grown as artists and makers along the way. Every look on the runway began as a sketch and evolved into a fully realized design.

The creativity didn’t stop at the garments. Fellow students stepped into the spotlight as models, bringing each piece to life and turning the evening into a true community collaboration.
