Boys Lacrosse Brings Home Championship Crown


It was a history making spring for McDonogh's boys lacrosse teams. On Friday, May 20 at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Field, the varsity team beat Boys’ Latin (8-5) to win the MIAA A Conference crown. The last time the Eagles won the conference title was in 2005. Ranked No. 1 throughout the season, the team had an undefeated league record (11-0). Earlier in May, the JV boys lacrosse team won the school’s first A Conference title with a victory over Loyola Blakefield, also with a score of 8-5. The win capped off a perfect season (16-0).
